The project aims at providing the inspectors of Bureau of Environmental Inspection to obtain licenses according to the civil aviation act Taiwan regulations. Meanwhile, the project also aims at capability enhancement of the inspectors of Bureau of Environmental Inspection to use remote sensing technology on environmental monitoring. 1. Forty trainees attended and completed the training course at the "Unmanned Aircraft Systems Training Program". Twenty-seven of the trainees received theoretic and practical assessments from Civil Aeronautics Administration. Twenty-four out of twenty-seven received Basic UAS Operation Certificate. The qualification rate is 88%. 2. The “Using Remote Sensing Technology on Environmental Monitoring and Investigation Workshop” is completed. In this workshop, technicians and inspectors of domestic environmental-relating agencies not only have the opportunities to learn from remote sensing technology, but to improve their abilities in using such technology on polluted incidents.
